Dalat islocated in Lam Dong province, approximately 200 km northeast of Ho ChiMinh City. At an elevation of 1,500 m, Dalat bearsthe look of an Old French city. It was founded in 1897 when Doctor AlexandreYersin recommended that the area be developed as a resort town.
Nha Trang is Vietnam's beach resort town. A major face-lift in 1995-96, and the opening of two up scale hotels later in 1996, vaulted Nha Trang onto the playing field with places like Phuket, Thailand, and Cancun, Mexico.
The central city of Quy Nhon has both nice landscape and interesting history. It lies in the cradle of Vietnamese traditional martial art, classical opera and the Cham culture.
